When we reached Perizaad Zorabian Irani's residence, she was ready to see off her six-month-old son Zayaan for his evening pram ride. "My life has changed dramatically and drastically since motherhood. But for the better," says the gorgeous mother of two. By this time, her daughter Zaha has returned from her gym class, and Perizaad's all settled to chat with CS:
Perizaad re-invented
I have been so spoilt all my life; I remember how I would just pick up my bag, say 'bye mum' and move out. Now, I have to co-ordinate hundred things before I leave home. I miss being selfish and carefree like I was before marriage.
My kids have taught me time management. I want to do a lot in life. I want to be a great wife, a perfect mother and yet retain my identity as Perizaad. Yes, I do want to get back to work. Resuming acting is going to be tough, but I want to make it happen. Once my son turns one, I plan to swing back in action.

My mother lives three houses away, so I have my support system in place. While I am open to films, I want to do theatre, anchor shows and other stuff as well. My kids are my first love but I love other things as well.
Baby bliss
My kids are my first priority. Zaha and Zayaan have brought out aspects of my personality that I never knew of. I always treasured my sleep; I sleep so deeply that I didn't even realiseu00a0 when the earthquake happened in Mumbai. But now, when Zayaan, who sleeps beside me, even stirs in his sleep, I'm wide awake. Motherhood has certainly made me more responsible. I was always ambitious and career-minded, but now I want to do things that will make my kids proud of me.

My time table
My day begins at 6am when Zayaan wakes me up. He won't wake up screaming or crying, he'll just move his body and give me the sweetest smile ever. After feeding him, I spend some quiet time with Boman (Irani) chatting over tea.
By this time, Zaha is up. My daughter is the action queen of the house. And she can throw solid tantrums; she's a Scorpion, you see. After all the morning cuddling, we finish breakfast. I head off to the gym and later to my dad's office to work for three-four hours. In the evenings, I play with the kids in the compound or in the park. I really enjoy bathing the kids and then at bedtime, I read to the kids. And Zaha only wants to listen to Lion King every time. So I have to change my expressions every night and tell the story again and again.
