The 32-year-old actress was in the city along with Jha to shoot the film, whose prequel "Gangaajal" had actor Ajay Devgn essaying role of a IPS officer.
"Why do you stereotype yourself in a particular role.. Nobody talks about film with a male lead in it. No one terms them 'men-oriented' films," she said, when asked about female-centric movies doing well at the box-office lately.
The "Fashion" star, who has an army background as her late father served defence forces as doctor, said she finds a difference in playing role of a police officer and an army personnel.
"There is a lot of difference between the two... My father used to say 'vardi ki chaal hi alag hoti hai' (walk in an uniform altogether has a different attitude)," she said.
Priyanka, who will be seen as a FBI agent in upcoming American thriller television series "Quantico", praised the city for its hospitality.
