Ranbir to get tips from Lata

Ranbir Kapoor is gearing up to play Kishore Kumar in biopic on the singer, by discussing the legendary singer with his colleagues. One of them who he has decided to get in touch with is Lata Mangeshkar. Lata and Kishore had sung innumerable duets, including famous ones such as Tere Bina Zindagi (Aandhi), Dekha Ek Khwab (Silsila) and Main Solah Baras Ki (Karz). Lata has been very close to the Kapoor family since the time of Raj Kapoor, Ranbir's grandfather.

Ranbir views the role as his biggest challenge and he is determined to know the real Kishore and portray him with sincerity. He has also been reading everything he can about the singer and listening to practically all his songs on his iPod.
