Richa Chadha on how her social media commentary earned her a place in Timothy Ferriss' potential bestseller, Tribe Of Mentors

While many actors are happy to sit on the fence over subjects plaguing the industry or the society at large, Richa Chadha's outspoken nature comes as a breath of fresh air. The actor doesn't shy away from sharing her views on socially relevant topics on social media. Her call- a- spade- a- spade attitude has caught the attention of American entrepreneur- author Timothy Ferriss, who has invited her to contribute to his book, Tribe Of Mentors.

Overwhelmed at the opportunity, Chadha says, " I naively thought what I say doesn't matter, at least, online. But when I was asked to share my experience in this book, I was over the moon. Tim Ferriss is a huge influence in the area of self- growth for us millennials." A compilation of life lessons from achievers from various walks of life, the book also features Ashton Kutcher, Ben Stiller, Maria Sharapova, Larry King and 4 immy Fallon. Chadha, who is the only Indian to feature in it, reveals that Ferriss reached out to her over e- mail. " He shared a questionnaire with me, and I shared my life experiences and learning in the answers.

It's just general anecdotes about overcoming obstacles." From highlighting the rise in bulimia to speaking up against body shaming, Chadha has been fiercely vocal on subjects close to her heart. Not to mention, it has earned her trolls too. However, in true Chadha style, she dismisses trolls as " irrelevant". " I don't have the time to deal with trolls; they are jobless. I only engage [ with them] when I have a burning desire to say something."
