At 45, Salman Khan has no qualms admitting that he cannot play the quintessential young hero any more. He did just that when a film was narrated to him.

Ahmed Khan's assistant Abhishek Dogra recently approached Salman to act in his film. However, after he heard the story, Salman suggested to Abhishek that he cast another younger actor, as he is too old for the role. While that is the reason Salman gave Abhishek, there is still the possibility that he refused the film as it was a three hero project.

Meanwhile, Salman suggested an alternate ending to Abhishek's script. Abhishek was thrilled with Salman's input and agrees completely that it is a better ending to the story. He has already begun to incorporate it and hopes he will get to work with Salman soon.
