Sanya Malhotra, Abhimanyu Dassani roped in for Meenakshi Sundareshwar

What's in a name? A lot, as Meenakshi and Sundareshwar would express in their upcoming Netflix film, Meenakshi Sundareshwar.

The film marks the continued association of Sanya Malhotra with the OTT platform, after the roaring success of Ludo, and the OTT debut of Abhimanyu Dassani - both of whom play the eponymous roles.

Taking to Instagram, Sanya Malhotra wrote, "You are cordially invited to Meenakshi and Sundareshwar's wedding. Send gifts and long-distance relationship tips!"

Set in Madurai in Tamil Nadu, the romantic comedy speaks about the trials and tribulations of a young couple, and is directed by Vivek Soni, produced by Dharmatic Entertainment, and written by Vivek Soni and Aarsh Vora.
