Celebrity hairstylist and reality TV show contestant Sapna Bhavnani has hit back on allegations that she is using Salman Khan's name in order to promote her upcoming autobiography.

In a series of tweets, Sapna Bhavnani, knocked the journalist of a major newspaper, who interviewed her while she was promoting her upcoming autobiography, for trying to, "sell her story with gossip." Sapna Bhavnani also alleged in the tweets that certain quotes taken from the interview were misused including ones when she has referred to the 'Sultan' actor as a 'monkey' and a 'male chauvinist pig'.

Sapna Bhavnani was vocal about recent comments made by Salman Khan that attracted controversy. The actor reportedly said that his training regimen for Salman Khan made him feel like a "raped woman". Bhavnani, who is herself a gangrape survivor (which she candidly discusses in her book titled 'Chapter One'), took exception to this and blasted the actor.
Last month, Sapna Bhavnani got an abusive Twitter troll's account suspended. The user made singer Sona Mohapatra as well as ex 'Bigg Boss' contestant and celebrity hairstylist Sapna Bhavnani the target of trolling along with a vulgar, photoshopped image of Shah Rukh Khan. (Read more)
Sapna Bhavnani was also a contestant on 'Bigg Boss season 6', which has been judged by Salman Khan. She has since spoken negatively about the show and Salman and has ever since attracted personal attacks on social media.
