Why not in India?
"This is an extension to the lace trend. But it's difficult for this trend to get popular in India, since Indian attire is mostly worn for family gatherings, and nude-looking fabrics won't go down well on such occasions. I had created two such gowns, but none of the Bollywood actresses chose them for their red carpet outings. I believe it won't connect with our sensibilities," elaborates Mumbai-based designer Swapnil Shinde.
