Priyanka Chopra will get a mandatory weekly off from now on. The actress has been given strict instructions by her mom to take a rest from work at least once in seven days.

PC has been having recurring health problems because of her stressful schedule and non-stop film and endorsement commitments.

In April, Priyanka was hospitalized in the Kokilaben hospital for exhaustion due to overwork. She was also diagnosed with stomach infection and was released after a few days.

My parents had me sit down they told me how they were serious about this and that they had already started to schedule my calendar with one day off minimum every week. It was amusing but I am glad they are putting their foot down. Left to me, nothing like this would have ever happened!"
