Hard workTalking about losing kilos, Sonakshi says, "It took two years of hard work, determination and will power. Describing her workout regimen, she adds, "I did weight training four to five times a week along with cardio. I eat small meals every three hours to keep me going." About her co-star she says, "Our fondness for each other is mutual! He saw potential in me and egged me on to lose weight. I would say his contribution was the highest as I started taking it seriously only after he told me to."Mera roleSonakshi plays a village girl in the film and has been doing her homework to prepare for the character. "Other than working on my weight, I've been preparing by observing people and trying to pick up nuances. I play a village girl who is dabangg (fearless) in nature. Also, my director, Abhinav, and I have been rehearsing the script so that I am prepared once on the sets!" Dad Shatrughan and mom Punam have let her do her own thing. "Their only advice to me would be to put my right foot forward and go with my instincts," concludes Sonakshi.
