In an app-solutely first-of-its-kind collaboration, Sonam Kapoor yesterday launched the first look of Sophie Choudry's new music single on her mobile application. Titled 'Sajan Main Nachungi', the song is about a bachelorette party.
Interestingly, in the run-up to the launch, Sophie had fuelled engagement rumours by tweeting a cosy snapshot with a mystery man.

What's more, her B-Town pals, Neha Dhupia and Bipasha Basu among others, had congratulated her and said they were looking forward to her bachelorette bash. But, it was a publicity gimmick after all.
Says Sophie, "Everyone does a typical music video launch, but the first look is crucial. I am bringing out a song after a couple of years and wanted to get people's attention. All I wrote was "Can't wait" [caption to the pic] and it got people talking. Nothing sells like romance, I suppose."
Why Sonam's app? "The song is fun, stylish and all about girl power, and I felt Sonam, as a brand, was a perfect fit. This is the first time that a celebrity has launched a song teaser of another artiste on her app. All credit to Sonam and her team for doing it," she adds.
Commenting on the tie-up, Sonam says, "Sophie told me she likes the app and was wondering if we could launch the song's teaser. I loved the idea and decided to do something fun with it."
What is the Kapoor girl's idea of a perfect bachelorette? "An amazing destination celebration with my closest friends," says Sonam as Sophie cuts in, "It's all about naughty fun! You have to have fun friends, great music, some alcohol and eye candy in the form a good looking male stripper!"
