Ricky Martin seems to be following in Elton John and George Michael's footsteps. The singer recently came out of the closet saying that he was gay, and proud to be one. Here's more dope on the man:u00a0

>>u00a0In the past Ricky said that he was in love with Mexican TV host Rebecca de Alba but the two broke up eventually. During the Livin' la Vida Loca era, Martin's personal life went under the microscope due to his large gay following, and he was questioned about his sexual orientation. In December 2000 during an interview he said. "I guess these rumours about me being gay were started by people who don't have a life, or perhaps it's because they want me to be like them and I'm not. It took him about a decade to realise his sexual orientation.
