Technical snag forces Sanjay Dutt to ditch chopper for a car

As Sanjay Dutt's furlough came to an end, the star made arrangements for a smooth ride back to the Yerwada jail in Pune, where he has remained behind the bars since almost six months

However, Dutt's plans were doused with cold water after the chopper developed some technical snags, forcing him to make the trip to Pune by road. Says a source, "Dutt was to take a private chopper back. After leaving home around 6.40 am, he went straight to Kalina to take the helicopter out of the city. However, after some technical issues cropped up, the actor had to go by car.
