The Gaba story followed the same plotline as last year, with a similar colour palette too.

Last year, it was just black and white. This time, Aneeth Arora and Chinar Farooqui introduced indigo and grey, soft yet defiant.

Trapeze dresses in silks, Ikat head scarves, shirts and dhoti pants made up this collection wearable, beautiful, but not fresh. The duo, known to make pattern via the method of breaking the garment into various traditional embroideries and fabrics, have mastered the art of multi-layering.

Dresses worn with full-sleeve buttoned up shirts gave the models a conservative, old-maid look, but the delicate sprinkling of traditional embroidery made it feminine and cool.
