The premiere of The Japanese Wife was held at a suburban theatre on Wednesday night. The cast and crew were present on the occasion. Aparna Sen and Rahul Bose were spotted chatting in mutual admiration. Raima Sen glittered in a white saree. Moushumi Chatterjee opted for a black saree. Konkona Sensharma came with Ranvir Shorey and Ramesh Sippy escorted Kiran Juneja. Shabana Azmi came with her fractured leg in a wheelchair to lend her support to good friend Aparna Sen. Spotted in the audience were Ken Ghosh, Claudia Ciesla, Sandhya Mridul, Abbas Tyrewala and Sudhir Mishra.
