Bengali film actress Tanushree Chakraborty, who was suddenly dropped from Rajjo after shooting for almost the entire film, remains unfazed on the eve of the movie's release. Vishwas Patil's project was to be her Bollywood debut.
After shooting for apparently almost 80 per cent of the film, she was shown the door and Kangna Ranaut roped in. Tanushree has moved on and is busy with her Bengali film commitments. She admits, "Yes, I had shot in Mumbai for Rajjo. I was essaying the title role."
According to the buzz, the Bengali actress was shown the door after the makers felt a bigger star would add value to the project. When asked about being dropped from the film, Tanushree however maintains, "They wanted another actress. There were date issues as well and I could not allot them more dates to wrap up the film."
Patil's film was almost complete when Kangs was roped in to play the protagonist. With her at the helm, several portions of the film were re-shot. Says a source, "Some of the other actors in the film were told to give fresh dates. They were told some portions were being redone."
Though her maiden Bollywood outing ended in a fiasco, the actress has not given up on chasing her dream.

Dalip Tahil who is part of Rajjo's cast is miffed with director Vishwas Patil for ignoring his name in the film's posters. He says, "It is strange that when other supporting actors's names are there, mine is missing. When I spoke to the director, he said the marketing folks had designed it.
