Vaani While most celebrity makeovers are often celebrated, even upheld by the masses, Vaani Kapoor's transformation from the shy desi girl in 'Shuddh Desi Romance' to the size-zero bold Shyra in Aditya Chopra's 'Befikre' wasn't appreciated by her fans. I was the new face who stood a chance to be accepted or not.

I'd like to meet a person before taking things forward, but I feel relieved after playing the role since a part of you subconsciously becomes the person."
Vaani was on the judges' panel at the recently-concluded Elle Graduates 2017 fashion event. Talking about judging a fashion competition, she says, "I am not a fashionista. My judgment came from the perspective of a normal girl."
