Vertu, the British-based luxury mobile manufacture has introduced its latest handset, the Signature Pure Black.

WHAT: This mobile has been specially handcrafted thanks to the PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) technique that is currently being used in watches.

PVD will make the surface extremely rugged, which in turn makes it almost impossible to scratch.u00a0

>>u00a0Vertu also added four classy and chic golden handsets in Japan at the end of March 2010. The exquisite handsets have been named Kinko, Kikusui, Nanten and Daigo. It is believed that each unique design present in the four phones stand for each different season of the year. Moreover, users can encompass free domestic calls.

Price: Vertu's Signature Pure Black retails for a whopping $14,835, which is pretty much in line with the rest of the Vertu handsets.

>> The Japanese version carries a price tag of 20 million yen (approx. $2,15,000) for each. Reportedly, Vertu plans to sell just four of these devices globally.
