Salman Khan's much-awaited film, 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan', hit the theatres on Friday. The makers of the film wanted to cash in on the Eid festival crowd, and based on the reaction of the first-day audience they seem to have succeeded. The entire nation seems to be high on Salman-mania.

Salman Khan's fans were overjoyed at seeing their 'bhai' on the big screen and the moment the 'Selfie Le Le Re' song starts playing on the big screen, they take to the aisles and stage to dance to the peppy beats.

One video doing the rounds of social media platforms shows his fans grooving to the song at a theatre in Maharashtra's Kolhapur. And that's the scene across most of India.

The theatres were echoing with whistles from the beginning when Salman makes an entry and it continues throughout the film. His fans could even be seen dancing outside the movie halls in Mumbai's Bandra suburb.

The film is Salman's first full-fledged home production and also features Kareena Kapoor Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and child artist Harshaali Malhotra in main roles.

The cross-border drama, which is about a Bajrangbali (Hanuman) bhakt named Pawan Kumar Chaturvedi's (played by Salman) journey from India to escort a six-year-old mute Pakistani girl back to her village, has got unanimous praise from fans and critics.
