Says a source, "The sudden developments over the last few days has left a big question mark. Will the selected girls make it to South Africa?"
As reported ('SRK's angels kaun?', Hitlist, February 16), 24 girls were shortlisted from all over the country to participate in the reality show Knights and Angels.

The weekly, produced by SRK's Red Chillies Idiot Box, airs on NDTV Imagine.
Uncertain futureAdds the source, "Abroad, cheerleading is big business. It is huge and there are scores of professionals who are well attuned to the demands of the sport.
Getting local cheerleaders will be no difficult task. Nor will there be any dress code restrictions as it happens here. Moreover,
firang cheerleaders were a big draw at the IPL last year."
The aim of
Knights and Angels was to encourage
cheerleading and even consider it as a career option. But in the drastically changed scenario, the girls don't know what the next few days will spell.
Informs Pranjal Khandhdiya, creative head-non-fiction, Red Chillies Idiot Box, "The selected girls will be travelling to South Africa.
We are checking on technical stuff like valid passports and other details. But whoever can go, we will ensure that it happens."
He adds that maybe there could be a mix of cheerleaders now. "We could take on South African
cheerleaders along with the winners of
Knights and Angels. But nothing is fixed yet."
Shiamak Davar has groomed the girls in dance while Sourav Ganguly judged them. "Though this Saturday the semi-final episode will be aired, the show has been shot and the six girls have already been finalised," informs the source.
"Sourav was selected as judge being the captain. But given recent developments, he may not have even shot for the remaining episodes."
Several B-Town stars like Lara Dutta, Minissha Lamba, Anushka Sharma have featured on the show as celeb judges. This week's episode has Deepika Padukone getting jiggy with the participants.
The finale episode on April 4 features
Shah Rukh along with Juhi Chawla as judge.
