New poster-boy hunk Rana Daggubati is signing no more films.

New poster-boy hunk Rana Daggubati is signing no more films. He is in research mode for his next Telugu film Na Ishtam, a romcom in which he will star opposite Genelia D'Souza of Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na fame. Before they head to Malaysia for shooting, Daggubati is watching as many romcoms as possible. But the boy, says sources, is nervous and the reason for that is none other than D'Souza.

Daggubati explains, "I haven't done a romcom yet and Genelia is a veteran in this genre. I'm a novice. I need to get it right if I don't want to end up looking foolish. To me, doing a romcom is as tough as doing a political film."

Apart from the Telugu film, Daggubati will be busy in July with Ram Gopal Varma's Hindi film Department. He has refused other offers, saying he needs time to prepare for the other two films.

"I can't do more than one film at a time. I have two back-to-back assignments. I hate projects overlapping, but it looks like Na Ishtam and Department will be shot together," he says. There are rumours that D'Souza has been going out of her way to make sure Daggubati doesn't feel awkward while shooting romantic scenes.

Daggubati grins and says he is getting used to it. "Every time there's a film, there's a link-up. Wait till I really get a girlfriend. Then, no one will believe me when I tell them I am in love."
