Zac's back. In high school. On the basketball court. Except there's that deja vu feeling. And it isn't because of the High School Musical hangover. Efron plays a high school senior, a star athlete, who throws away a scholarship to marry his pregnant sweetheart and start a family.
In unfamiliar territory already? 17 Again gives Mike O'Donnell (Efron/Perry) a second chance to relive his dreams and get it right this time around. A catalyst to the proceedings is a lowly janitor (Brian Doyle Murray a guy you could easily mistake for his far more famous bro, Bill).
He has a billionaire best friend in Ned Freedman (Thomas Lennon; no relation to the Beatle) but they're not the brightest bulbs in the shed when it comes to living as a teenager in 2009 and have a lot of catching up to do as they still think like 40-year-olds.
Matthew Perry plays the older Mike O'Donell, separated from his childhood sweetheart and now wife, Scarlett. He lives with his buddy, Ned Freedman. His career's at a stand-still and he's detached from his kids...
Michelle Trachtenberg plays Mike's daughter, Maggie. She's not as innocent as she looks. It also doesn't help that she has a crush on the younger version of her dad.
Leslie Mann is Scarlett, Mike's wife. She knows 2009's Mike looks just like her husband did at 17, will she make the connection?
Tough luck, guys!u00a0u00a0text/Bryan Durham
