In Pic: Suhani Bhatnagar and Aamir Khan
Suhani Bhatnagar, known for playing young Babita Phogat in the movie Dangal, passed away at the age of 19 due to complications from dermatomyositis. Her parents shared the details of her health struggles. Two months before her death, she experienced swelling in her hands, which later spread throughout her body. Despite consulting multiple doctors, the autoimmune disorder remained unidentified until she was admitted to AIIMS.
Now, in a recent interview with ANI, Suhani's mother has revealed that Aamir Khan, who was the lead actor in Dangal, was a strong support system for them all these years. She revealed how they chose not to inform him about Suhani's medical condition, but she knows that he would have run for them if they had informed the superstar who was always in touch.
"Aamir sir has always been in touch. He is a nice person. He always remained in touch with her. We didn't inform him because we were already very disturbed, so we didn't tell anyone, including him (Aamir Khan), but definitely, if we sent him a text message, he would immediately respond and call us personally. He bonded well with Suhani from the beginning," she said.
She even revealed that Aamir Khan had invited them to Ira Khan and Nupur Sikhare's wedding, but they couldn't attend because Suhani was recovering from her fracture and they couldn't travel with her. "Recently, it was their daughter's marriage. We got the invite properly. He even called us, stating that you have to come," she said.
