Aayush Sharma is attempting an out-and-out action fare with Ruslaan. Recently, the team released a pre-teaser to drum up interest around the movie. Knowing the importance of a film's first look, director Karan Butani and the actor roped in Livingston Antony Ruben, the editor behind Shah Rukh Khan's blockbuster Jawan (2023), to translate their vision into a pre-teaser.

Any director will tell you that editing plays the final role in making or breaking a movie. Sharma believes it becomes all the more important in an action entertainer. "The sharpness of an action movie comes from the editing, and Ruben's expert guidance and deft hands have done their magic," says the actor, adding that Ruben has a finger on the audience's pulse.
"He has worked on movies like Pushpa: The Rise [2021], Bigil [2019] and Mersal [2017]. So, he understands scale and knows exactly how to present something that appeals to all. Bringing life to every frame with an innate sense of rhythm and storytelling is his forte."
