Actor Alia Bhatt was in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Saturday for the Joy Awards event. Several pictures and videos of the actress posing on the red carpet of the event are doing the rounds on social media. Alia was given the Honorary Entertainment Makers Award at the event.
For the night that celebrated cinema worldwide, Alia Bhatt represented India in a gorgeous saree. Her multi-coloured saree with intricate prints also came with a cape. She tied her hair in parts and curled them. She completed the look with golden earrings and glossy make-up.

At the event, Alia Bhatt also gave a nice acceptance speech where she thanked the organisers, the country and shed light on her obsession with cinema.
After receiving her trophy, she said, "It's a privilege to be here in this nation, the nation that is currently doing so much to unite us all and bring us all under one roof in the name of cinema. It doesn't happen very often where countless talents from the West, and East come together under one roof and celebrate each other. So thank you for making this happen."
She also added, "It's truly an extraordinary night. I'm obsessed with movies, it's all I know. I've said this before, I think when I was born, I came out on 'Lights, camera, action'. That's how much cinema means to me. One of the things, if we are talking about joy, one of the greatest things in our lives is love. So tonight when I go back home, I take back with me the love of the movies and the love that I felt here in Riyadh. So thank you so much, and here's to the magic of movies."
Meanwhile, on the work front, actor Alia Bhatt was last seen in the film 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani'. She will be next seen in director Vasan Bala's next 'Jigra'. Apart from that, she also has 'Jee Le Zaraa' in her kitty. Helmed by Farhan Akhtar the film also stars Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra in the lead roles.
