Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur front the Indian adaptation of the popular web series, The Night Manager
Aditya Roy Kapur kick-started the week by unveiling the first look of his next, 'The Night Manager'. The motion poster, shared on Monday, marked his social media post after almost a fortnight. At a time when actors feel the need to be active on social media, his infrequent online presence is both unusual and refreshing.
"I am told all the time to put at least one picture a month, if not once a week. By now, my team has realised that I won't post [frequently]. For me, the average is a post every two months," he laughs. When not on a film set, Kapur finds comfort in oblivion.
"I don't gravitate towards the [promotional] part of being an actor. I like to have a private life, and keep it at a distance from [the public eye]. I like to indulge in [media interactions] only when my film is coming out."
It's safe to assume that we'll see more of Kapur in the coming months. After all, he has 'The Night Manager', followed by Anurag Basu's Metro... In Dino. It will be a busy 2023 for the actor, who believes he is choosy about his projects. "I need to be 500 per cent [sure] to say yes to a project. That said, I am the happiest on a movie set."
