As India battles the deadly second wave of Covid-19, the team of SS Rajamouli's film 'RRR' came forward to urge everyone to follow all protocols, stay home, stay safe and get vaccinated. The official Twitter handle of the 'RRR' movie shared a video and wrote alongside, "Wear a mask always ð·. Get vaccinated when available ðÂÂÂ.... Let's #StandTogether to Stop The Spread of #COVID19 in India ð®ð³âÂÂð»"
The video sees Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Ram Charan, Jr. NTR and the director, SS Rajamouli reiterating the importance of following protocols, use of masks and sanitisers and staying safe in current times. Each of the actors speaks in different languages like Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu while requesting all to wear a mask while stepping out. They also encouraged everyone to get vaccinated to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus.

âRRR' is set against the backdrop of the pre-independence era in the 1920s. The movie is a fictional tale that narrates the journeys of Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seethrama Raju, played by Jr NTR and Ram Charan, respectively. The movie marks Alia Bhatt's Tollywood debut. She plays Sita opposite Ram Charan. 'RRR' sees Ajay Devgn in an extended cameo. The film will have a worldwide release on October 13, 2021 on the festive occasion of Dusshera.
PEN movies got the rights of the film. They will be the distributors of 'RRR' across North India. Produced by DVV Danayya, the movie is set to release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, and several other Indian languages.
