Karan Johar has made all his directorial ventures with Shah Rukh Khan, which also includes Khan's cameo in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. The only film he made without him was his 2012 hit Student of the Year. It launched the careers of three debutants - Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, and Sidharth Malhotra. Today, the film and the trio complete nine years in the industry.
On this occasion, Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar connected with Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra and indulged in some âvirtual waala love', as per the actress' caption on her Instagram post. Have a look:

Alia Bhatt is also a producer now and will be co-producing and acting in her maiden production called âDarlings'. The name of her company is Eternal Sunshine and it has partnered with Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies for this dark comedy that also stars Vijay Varma and Shefali Shah. Apart from this, there's SS Rajamouli's âRRR', also starring Junior NTR, Ram Charan, and Ajay Devgn.
But the one film everyone seems to be waiting for with bated breath is Ayan Mukerji's three-part Superhero drama âBrahmastra'. It unites her for the first time with Ranbir Kapoor on screen and this ambitious project also has names like Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Dimple Kapadia, and Mouni Roy in its ensemble. Earlier titled âDragon', it was slated for a December 4, 2020, release before the Coronavirus pandemic hit.
There's also Sanjay Leela Bhansali's âGangubai Kathiawadi', of course. And then the buddy movie with Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif directed by Farhan Akhtar, titled âJee Le Zaraa'. Last but not the least, mentor Karan Johar returns to direction after six years to make his next film called âRocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' with her and Ranveer Singh. The rom-com also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi.
