Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are adored by their RanLia Army. The couple has come a long way since they began dating during the shoot of Brahmastra. The actors tied the knot on April 14, 2022, at their Bandra residence. Recently, Alia made a confession that Ranbir doesn't like it when she applies lipstick and prefers her natural lip colour. Her revelation led to the actor being trolled and a section of people called him the living example of a 'red flag'.
Amid this controversy, Alia said in an interview with Harper Bazaar that Ranbir gave her a surprise on her birthday when they were shooting for Brahmastra in Bulgaria. The actress revealed that he got her favourite milk cake from L'Eto in London to Bulgaria on her special day.
Alia said, "He was my boyfriend at the time, and we were shooting a movie together in Bulgaria. There's a particular milk cake from L'Eto in London that I'm obsessed with, and he flew the cake from London to Bulgaria so that I could cut it on my birthday. I literally did not share it, even with him!"

In a video for Vogue India, Alia showed how she applies lipstick. She shared her absurd way of applying lipstick by moving her lips instead of her hands. The actress then said, "I thought, that was just something that I worked out for myself and then, I rub it off. Because one thing my husband [when he wasn't my husband when he was my boyfriend as well] says when we used to go out at night, he used to say 'Wipe that [lipstick] off. Wipe that off'. Because he loves the natural colour of my lip."
Amid the controversy, Alia did an AMA session on Instagram. When a fan asked about Ranbir, she cryptically reacted to the debate around the lipstick video and wrote, "He's my happy place cause I can be my truest most authentic self with him." She also called him her 'favourite' photographer and shared a picture clicked by him.
