Amitabh Bachchan Birthday 2023: Abhishek Bachchan wishes his 'hero'; Shah Rukh Khan calls him 'toughest of them all'

Amitabh Bachchan is celebrating his 81st birthday today (October 11). On this occasion, celebrities and fans are sending out wishes to the superstar. However, the special wish came from his son Abhishek Bachchan.

Abhishek shared a picture from a photoshoot with his father and wrote, "My idol, my hero, my inspiration and my best friend! Happy 81st birthday, Pa. Love you and always got your back."

Shah Rukh Khan, who shares a family-like relationship with the Bachchans, wrote, "Tough runs don't last….tough runners do. And Sir you are the toughest of them all. Last 30 yrs just being around u and breathing the same air as you….has been a blessing. Wish u the best on your birthday….keep running & inspiring us. Sir and that Gym of yours… is unbelievable. Love u!" He shared a picture from the recent ad film that they did together.

Shweta Bachchan shared pictures from Mr Bachchan's 81st birthday. The caption read, "Happy 81st Papa. Big shoes ( and hugs ) no one can ever manage to fill."

Mr Bachchan's granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda shared a post on his birthday. She wrote, "Happy birthday Nana."

At the stroke of midnight, Mr Bachchan stepped out of his bungalow to meet his fans standing at the gate of Jalsa. While he was waving at his fans, the paparazzi captured an adorable moment. In multiple videos, one can see Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Aaradhya Bachchan and Navya Naveli Nanda in the background. Reportedly, they were on a video call with Abhishek Bachchan, who couldn't be present in Mumbai for his father's birthday celebration.

Navya shared a picture of Mr Bachchan with his grandchildren. The veteran superstar stood in the centre whereas Navya, Aaradhya, and Agastya Nanda were around him and his wife Jaya Bachchan. Her caption read, "Happy Birthday Nana."
