In yet another social media post, Amitabh Bachchan has penned his thoughts, this time a heartfelt prayer. Bachchan prayed to almighty for stability amid the difficult times due to the Covid 19 outbreak and the destruction caused due to cyclone Tauktae.
"Stability .. a situation in which something is not likely to move or change. Please dear Lord âsomething not likely to move'. Do not âmove' the winds and rains for the fury of its presence .. the destruction of your environ .. the helplessness of the destitute .... â something not likely to change â .. dear Lord do not stop the âchange' of the graphs of improvement, in the repair that is apparently seen in some areas of the virus .. .. just âmove' the stability that is reportedly seen in both the environs - the storms of Tauktae and the mild improvements in the Virus over the land where it disturbs the most .. [sic]"
He adds further, "We pray in the sincerity of our beings .. we have and are doing what humanity believes in its supreme pontiffs .. in the bended knee or the supine servile submission before the unseen Force that we all have our faith and belief in .. prayers .. ð [sic]"
Along with the prayer note, Bachchan also shared a monochromatic picture of himself. Have a look:
In a blog post on Monday night, Bachchan informed his fans that his office 'Janak' in suburban Juhu was flooded after cyclone Tauktae hit the city. "There is an eerie silence in the midst of the Cyclone... Flooding in the vulnerable Janak Office, impromptu plastic cover sheets still in prep for the heavy Monsoon rain, ripped apart .. sheds and shelters for some staff blown away," he wrote.
Bachchan said he shared his wardrobe with the staff whose uniforms were drenched as they repaired the office after the incessant rains. "Staff simply amazing in such conditions .. their uniforms wet and dripping but they continue .. gave them dress changes urgently in this strife, from my own wardrobe and now they proudly move about as Chelsea and Jaipur Pink Panther supporters."
