The Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) is set to launch its first T10 tennis ball cricket tournament, this year. Six teams, representing major cities, are gearing up for a fierce competition set to captivate cricket enthusiasts nationwide. The interesting thing about this league is that anybody can participate in this mega tournament as there is no age restriction. The player selections will be done by former Indian cricket team captain and coach Ravi Shastri. Akshay Kumar owns the Srinagar team while Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor own the Kolkata team. Amitabh Bachchan, Suriya, Hrithik Roshan, and Ram Charan are also team owners.
Scheduled to kick off on March 2, 2024, and conclude on March 9, the ISPL T10 tournament will feature 19 intense matches, exclusively played in Mumbai. The league aims to break down barriers, bringing the raw passion and skill of street cricket onto the grand stage of stadiums.
