Twinkle Khanna
Actor turned author Twinkle Khanna revealed that her daughter with actor Akshay Kumar was recently bitten by their pet dog on both hands. In her column for Times Of India, Twinkle narrated the incident in detail involving her pet dog, Freddie who she shares with a cousin. She also spoke about her daughter's attachment to the dog and her reaction to being bitten and getting shots for rabies and tetanus.
Author Twinkle Khanna recalled, "This Christmas, someone accidentally placed a plate of chicken satay in front of the kids (Aarav and Nitara), while Freddie was around. He jumped on the plate and started gulping down the pieces. My 11-year-old (Nitara), worried about him swallowing the wooden skewers holding the chicken together, tried pulling the pointed skewers out of his mouth. She got bitten on both hands."
However, Nitara was not frightened by the incident. Recalling Nitara's reaction to being bitten by the pet, Twinkle wrote, "Three shots of rabies and one shot of tetanus later, she claims she has no regrets. âIt was an accident. He didn't mean to bite me, and it doesn't matter as long as Freddie is fine.' Now, if I had inadvertently chomped on her fingers, not only would there be unceasing accusations, but 20 years later, it would be a subject of intense discussion during her therapy sessions. "
Twinkle and Akshay Kumar's daughter Nitara is 11 while their older son Aarav is 21.

Earlier when she finished her master she took to her account and dropped a video of herself with a long note. A part of her note reads, "For younger students, their parents organise logistics. For people at my stage we are the organisers. I applied to five universities, got rejected by one, but got my first choice. Then, I had to do the tough bits: getting my daughter to move, not just schools but countries; arranging my work in a way that I can manage virtually and fly down repeatedly; working on my book, finding a place to live, doctors, plumbers, delivery apps, and making friends in a new city. It's all been overwhelming sometimes."
