Sunny Deol is still enjoying the grand success of his recently released film 'Gadar 2.' Deol has no plans to go small as yesterday, he announced another film with Aamir Khan. Now, Pinkvilla has exclusively revealed that Sunny Deol will be working on 'Border 2' soon. The portal further shared that Ayushmann Khurrana is in the final stages of conversation with the makers and will also join the cast of 'Border' soon. It is said that Ayushmann will play the second lead alongside Sunny in the patriotic drama.
According to reports, the film is still in the scripting stage, and the makers are still approaching several actors to play pivotal roles in the movie. JP Dutta and his team are deeply immersed in preparations and plan to make it the biggest war drama ever to come out of Indian cinema.
"Border 2 is a massive-scale project and is expected to generate the same level of excitement as Gadar 2 right from its announcement. The makers have been in discussions with Ayushmann for several weeks and it's finally on the verge of being close. Ayushmann, who has primarily been part of quirky social dramas, is thrilled to embark on this new kind of journey, teaming up with Deol for the first time," Shared a source close to the portal.
For the unversed, Sunny Deol's next film, 'Lahore 1947,' based on Asghar Wajahat's critically acclaimed Punjabi play, will go into production around December or January. Sunny Deol's next film will be set in 1947, the year India gained independence and also the year India was divided into two countries before the British left the country. Aamir Khan, on Tuesday, took to social media to make the announcement. The superstar's production house will be backing the film.

Aamir Khan, while making the announcement about the film, shared, "I and the entire team at AKP, are most excited and happy to announce our next, starring Sunny Deol, directed by Raj Kumar Santoshi, titled Lahore, 1947.
