Sumbul says she isn't disappointed with her eviction, "I was feeling very guilty as my friends got nominated because of me. I had a feeling that since I made a mistake I should be the one who suffers. Luckily, that is what happened, I'm guilt free and happy now. I never wanted to hurt anyone and when I make friends I consider them as family. These are the people who supported me emotionally, if I hadn't been evicted I would die of guilt." She adds that the mandli group has made plans for long drives after the show and that their group will never break.
Speaking about her equation with Shalin Bhanot and Tina Datta she said, "Not listening to my father's advice was the biggest mistake I made. I had a different view of the situation, which was wrong. If I had listened to him I would have opened up before, like I did at the end of the show. I still feel whatever happens is for the best. Tina and Shalin not just hurt me but also hurt my father. I don't have hard feelings towards them but sorry I can't."
The actress said that her relationship with Shalin being seen in a different light on national television, has made her a different person. "I never thought that my friendship would be misinterpreted. The day I got clarification and closure I felt relieved."
