Actress Preity Zinta has wished her âSoldier' co-star Bobby Deol on his birthday, a 'lifetime of happiness, sexiness, good health and success', and shared how she always wants to see her "cherished" friend happy.
Bobby celebrated his 55th birthday on Saturday, and his dear friend Preity had a special wish for the âBadal' actor. The duo has shared the screen space in movies like âJhoom Barabar Jhoom', and âHeroes'.
Taking to her Instagram account, Preity dropped a wonderful throwback picture, which seems to be from a shoot wherein the duo are dressed in blingy costumes. Bobby is seen holding a guitar, while Preity flaunts her dimpled smile.
Along with the picture, Preity wrote a birthday note: "Happy Birthday my darling @iambobbydeol Wishing you a lifetime of happiness, sexiness, good health, success and fun times. She gave the tune of the track âJamal Kudu' to her post. The song is pictured on Bobby, and is from his latest movie âAnimal', starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead.

Meanwhile, Bobby Deol who has been basking in the success of the film 'Animal' celebrated his birthday with his fans who gathered outside his house on Saturday. The ardent fans of the star turned the vicinity of home into a carnival spot, overflowing with dancing, singing and plastering the neighbourhood with congratulatory posters. Some of them even adorned Bobby with garlands to express their love for him.
Dressed in a dapper jet-blue co-ord suit, Bobby Deol exuded charm on his special day. Sporting a stylish hat, the actor embraced the festivities, capturing the attention and admiration of onlookers.
The birthday festivities reached their crescendo when Bobby cut a magnificent five-tier white cake, a delightful gift from his devoted fans. The actor then graciously posed for selfies with the ecstatic crowd.
After his menacing portrayal of his character Abrar Haque in 'Animal', Bobby is now set for Telugu star Nandamuri Balakrishna's 109th movie, tentatively titled NBK109, and the Tamil fantasy action film 'Kanguva' headlined by Suriya.
