On the other hand, the trailer release of Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam-starrer 'OMG 2' was delayed because of the censor certificate controversy. The Censor board took time in granting the film a certificate owing to the sensitive nature of the plot of the film. Eventually, the film was granted A certificated with as many as 20 cuts and modifications demanded by the board. Akshay Kumar's character of Lord Shiva was changed to messenger of God. The film, which was set in Ujjain, was changed to show that it was set in a fictional town.
