Haryanvi singer, dancer and Bigg Boss fame Sapna Choudhary made her Cannes debut and became the first regional artiste from India to walk the coveted red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival.
The Haryanvi heartthrob who took the country by storm with her superhit dance number, 'Teri Aakhyan Ka Yo Kajal' and then went to star in India's one of the biggest reality shows, 'Bigg Boss', Sapna has joined the likes of Bollywood divas like former Miss World Manushi Chhillar, Sara Ali Khan, Esha Gupta and Mrunal Thakur, who made a stellar Cannes debut this year.
Touted as the pride of Haryana, Choudhary's Cannes red carpet debut is winning the hearts of her fans and netizens for all the right reasons. The 'Bigg Boss 10' fame who walked the prestigious Cannes red carpet in a soft-pink stone-embedded Indo-western ensemble, made heads turn as she greeted the audience and the shutterbugs with a namaste while posing for pictures.

Taking her fans and followers by surprise, Sapna took to her Instagram on Friday and dropped photos of her Cannes red carpet debut. While sharing the pictures, an elated Sapna Choudhary wrote, "Debut at Cannes'2023. Dreams really do come true. It's been a long journey full of sweat, sacrifice, and determination, but it's all worth it. Thank you to everyone who made this possible."
The actor who has collaborated with the French air carrier brand, Air France, for which she walked the red carpet, talking about her Cannes red carpet debut, Sapna says, "Cannes is not just a dream, but a lifetime dream for any actress/actor, and I am thankful to God that today I could conquered this besides the facts of not even knowing English or any international languages, I am a proud Indian standing here at Cannes for my country and my state Haryana. People of Air France are so generous and accepting, I think acceptance is the biggest step towards change and humanity as well!"
Speaking about her experience of walking the Cannes red carpet, Sapna says, "It was an incredible experience to debut at the Cannes Film Festival. Walking the red carpet was surreal. The atmosphere was electric and I was thrilled to be there with so many other talented artistes from around the world."
"Being the first regional artist to achieve this milestone is a dream come true. I never anticipated it, but I am grateful for the opportunities that have come my way and because of the support of my fans and my team," Sapna concluded.
