Gadar 3 is on the cart
It's happening! The much-awaited news is here - Gadar 3 is going to happen. Months after the release of âGadar 2', reports of the third film are surfacing. Gadar 2 was released on 11th August and and received an amazing response from the audience. The film became a blockbuster, shattering several box office records, and now the makers have decided to wow the fans with yet another film in the franchise. The bigger news is that Gadar 3 will see Sunny Deol and Anil Sharma joining hands, yet again.
According to reports from Pinkvilla, Zee Studios has given the green light to Gadar 3, and the first round of paperwork has already started. Filmmaker Anil Sharma while talking to the portal shared, "Yes, Tara Singh will be back, as we have locked in the basic idea of Gadar 3. I am presently shooting with Utkarsh and Nana Patekar for my next directorial journey and will start working on the Gadar 3 script very soon," filmmaker Anil Sharma shared with the portal.
A source close to the development added, "Gadar 2 ended with a promise of Gadar 3, and that wasn't an announcement made for the sake of grabbing eyeballs. Ever since the release of the film, Anil Sharma and his team of writers have been brainstorming ideas for the third part of Gadar, and they have finally locked down the basic idea for the third installment. Much like the world of the franchise, this one too will be set against the backdrop of the Indo-Pak conflict; however, the stakes this time will be higher than ever before."
Reportedly, a lot of writing will be taking place to âdevelop the idea'. "The team has got the direction of where the story of Tara Singh, Sakina, and Jeete heads from here on," the source concluded.
