Television actor Dalljiet Kaur has sparked divorce rumours after she deleted pictures with her second husband Nikhil Patel from her Instagram account. She has also dropped her husband's surname from her Instagram bio. After these activities on her Instagram handle, rumours of her divorce started doing the rounds.
Now as per Times of India reports a source has disclosed that soon after their marriage Dalljiet and Nikhil realised that they were incompatible. If the problems persist, separation might be the only option for the two. The source shared, "Initially, everything seemed fine in their marriage, but it was short-lived. Problems cropped up between the couple soon after. Dalljiet and Nikhil realised they were incompatible. The situation worsened in the last two months. If problems persist, separation might be the only option."
Earlier, after the reports of divorce started circulating her spokesperson issued a statement on her behalf, which read, "Dalljiet and Jaydon are in India currently for her dad's surgery, followed by her mother's surgery, which required her to be with them. At the moment, Dalljiet would not like to comment on anything because kids are in the picture. Please respect their privacy and consider this as the only statement she would like to give out."
Not just Dalljiet, Nikhil has also deleted several posts and pictures featuring the former on Instagram. Dalljiet tied the knot with Nikhil Patel in March 2023. In February 2023, she made her relationship with Nikhil's Instagram official. "The stars aligned and fate played a part in bringing our hearts and souls together. Our journey to forever starts now. Dalljiet and her son immediately shifted base to Nairobi, Kenya after her wedding. Jaydon was born to Dalljiet and actor Shalin Bhanot in 2014. Shalin and Dalljiet met while working together on the TV show 'Kulvaddhu' in 2006. They got married in 2009 and became parents to Jaydon in 2014. However, in 2015, Dalljiet filed for divorce after accusing Shalin of domestic violence. If reports are to be believed, Dalljiet's husband Nikhil has two daughters, thirteen-year-old Aariyana and eight-year-old Aanika from his previous marriage.
