Shah Rukh Khan in DDLJ
Shah Rukh Khan will turn 57 on November 2. He is one of the biggest stars not just in India but across the world. The actor has a massive fan following across the globe and has spent entertained the audience for 30 years through his movies. To celebrate his birthday on Wednesday, select cinemas across India will be screening 'Dilwale Dulhani Le Jaayenge'.
'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaayenge' (DDLJ) was released in 1995 and starred Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in the lead along with Amrish Puri, Farida Jalal, Anupam Kher, Satish Shah, Mandira Bedi, and others in prominent roles. The film was directed by Aditya Chopra. It is considered one of the most successful films in India's history. While the film is still shown at Mumbai's iconic theatre, Maratha Mandir. PVR will be screening the movie on November 2 at its Andheri, Goregaon, Juhu, and BKC chains. The film will also be screened at select theatres in Delhi and Kolkata.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan, was last seen on the big screen in the 2018 film 'Zero'. While he was seen on the big screen in cameo appearances post-Zero, he will be making a comeback with the film 'Pathaan' in January next year. Touted to be an action thriller, Pathaan directed by Siddharth Anand also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. Apart from 'Pathaan', Khan also has 'Jawan' with director Atlee and 'Dunki' with Rajkumar Hirani in the pipeline.
