Durga Puja 2023: Navratri, meaning 'nine nights', is one of the most popular and widely celebrated Hindu festivals in many parts of India. The festival is celebrated with fervour and festivity to mark the victory of Goddess Durga, who fought against the buffalo-headed demon Mahishasura.
Mumbai is famed for its 'glamour' and the deeply rooted film industry. However, more often than not, these two elements mix to form something beautiful. Celebrities are known to embrace the festive season just like everyone else in the bustling city.
Today, when everybody is excited for Shashthi Pooja, Kajol also went out to celebrate this special occasion. The actress went to seek divine blessing at their family's Durga Puja pandal in Juhu. Kajol opted for a stunning yellow saree, which she wore with a contrasting orange blouse. The actress tied her hair in a bun while she chose intricate jewellery to elevate her traditional look. Sharbani Mukherjee, Kajol's cousin, chose a gorgeous green outfit to attend the event.
