Tara Sutaria and Aadar Jain are said to have broken up
Student of the Year 2 star Tara Sutaria seems to have broken up with Aadar Jain. The two of them never spoke about their relationship in public, but Tara was spotted at several family events of Aadar Jain, the son of Rima Jain, sister to Randhir and Rishi Kapoor. They would also put up social media posts for each other on special occasions. She was part of the grand celebrations when Aadar's elder brother Armaan Jain married Anissa Malhotra. Tara was part of some other Kapoor family gatherings as well, confirming speculation that she was dating Aadar Jain.
However, in a recent interview, the Apurva actress said she is currently single, leading to speculation that her relationship with Aadar has ended. Speaking to News18, Tara revealed her current relationship status. She stated, "I'm not in a relationship." Reports suggest that Tara and Aadar decided to part ways amicably, and even though they are no longer dating, they have chosen to remain friends.
The 27-year-old actress also opened up about how she and her parents responded to link-up rumours. Tara joked about how she was once linked with three people in a week.
She insisted that neither she nor her parents are fazed by dating rumours. She said, "No, they don't bother me. I've the coolest parents in the world. When they read all these things about me in the morning, they come to me and we share a nice laugh over a cup of tea. We keep reading about me being paired with X, Y or Z. This has been happening even before my first film released."
After forgettable films in Marjaavaan (2019) and Ek Villain Returns (2022), Sutaria is excited to headline a project with Apurva. She knows how rare the opportunity is in Bollywood that churns out testosterone-driven films. "There are so many hero-centric films but women-oriented films are rare. I'm glad the film chose me. I've learnt the hard way that if your film doesn't work, people won't accept you. I don't have a Godfather, and in this industry, some guidance always helps. That said, every time I took advice, it backfired. So, I'm left to go with my gut feeling," she said to Mid-day in an interview recently.
