Almost a week after he was spotted in the city with his hand in a cast and bandaged fingers, Abhishek Bachchan revealed what went wrong. In an Instagram post, Junior B wrote that he had a "freak accident" in Chennai while shooting for the remake of the Tamil film, Oththa Seruppu Size 7. "I fractured my right hand and needed surgery to fix it," he said. The actor had barely begun shooting for the thriller but had to dash back to Mumbai for treatment. "Surgery done, all patched-up and casted, and now back in Chennai to resume work." Bachchan further added, "The show must go on." He quoted the iconic dialogue from his father's film Mard (1985), "Mard ko dard nahin hota... okay, okay, it hurt a little." Junior B, who was operated upon at Lilavati Hospital, also thanked fans for their "get-well-soon messages."

On Thursday, the first look of the Netflix series was unveiled. Several Bollywood stars will make a guest appearance in Shaad Ali's directorial venture about "four talent agents who manage fragile star egos." Ali is also helming the Indian version of the British series, Guilt, starring Jaideep Ahlawat and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub.

Anushka Sharma's brother Karnesh turned a year older on Thursday and making his day memorable was actor girlfriend Tripti Dimri. She shared a series of pictures with "the man who never fails to make me laugh." The two are now open about their relationship and often indulge in PDA on social media. It asks participants to âlook at where you came from and look at you now'. The actor posted a clip comprising several videos and pictures from her childhood and her journey to stardom with the comedian-musician Bo Burnham's song, Bezos I, about the Amazon founder playing in the background. Priyanka Chopra Jonas has been shooting with Game of Thrones actor Richard Madden for an action sequence of Citadel. Snapshots from the set of Russo Bros' web series surfaced online on Thursday. Several pictures were shared by fan groups in which PeeCee is seen ready for the kill. She began shooting for the show in January due to which she has parked herself in London.
Jugal Hansraj, who was last seen in Sujoy Ghosh's thriller Kahaani 2: Durga Rani Singh (2016), features alongside Anupam Kher in Shiv Shastri Balboa. "He is patient, teaches me a lot and it is always fun working with him," said Hansraj about his co-star. The two earlier collaborated on Pyaar Impossible! (2010), Mohabbatein (2000) and Papa Kehte Hain (1996). Ajayan Venugopalan's film, also starring Neena Gupta and Sharib Hashmi, is about an Indian family in America. The unit has been shooting in New Jersey for the tale of true grit and survival.

Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu are putting together a series of three picture books tentatively titled Inni and Bobo. It will take readers through the adventures of a girl, Inni, and her "scruffy-looking, floppy-eared" dog, Bobo. Inni's character is inspired by the actor couple's daughter, Inaaya Naumi, who loves animals and listening to stories. The books will be published by Penguin and the first one is slated to hit stands next year. It marks Kemmu's debut as an author. In 2017, Khan
had penned her memoir, The Perils of Being Moderately Famous.
Aishwarya Khare, who plays the protagonist Lakshmi in Bhagya Lakshmi, has been having a tough time shooting for her wedding sequence in the track. The lehenga and jewellery weighs nearly 10 kg and she is finding it tiring to shoot continuously. "But it's surreal being a bride and going through the rituals," says the actor.
