Over the weekend, as another intimate picture of Jacqueline Fernandez and Sukesh Chandrasekhar went viral, the actor broke her silence. In a social media post, she asked fans and the media to refrain from sharing her photographs with the alleged conman. "I request you to not circulate images of a nature that intrude my privacy and personal space. You would not do this to your loved ones. I am sure you would not do this to me either. Hoping that justice and good sense prevails," she posted. Fernandez added that she is going through "a rough patch". Fans lent support by sharing, "Stay strong, Jacqueline", "Don't worry everything will be alright soon", and "love you", messages. A section of netizens slammed the actor and called her "a gold-digger who dated someone for money and expensive gifts" and asked her to stop "playing the victim card". Others wondered why she was reacting "so late" when several of her loved-up snapshots have been doing the rounds for months. The Enforcement Directorate has questioned her several times in Chandrasekhar's Rs 200 crore money laundering case.
On Sunday, Farhan Akhtar turned 48. The filmmaker-actor received a special birthday wish from ladylove Shibani Dandekar. She posted that it will be Foo's (that's what she calls him) "best year yet" while expressing "forever love". There's chatter that the two are planning to tie the knot in the coming months. On Sunday, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal celebrated one month of their wedding with a new set of mushy photographs. Kat posted, "Happy one month, my heart." Kaushal's caption read, "Forever to go." On Friday, Kat winged her way to Indore to be with hubby dearest who is shooting there. While congratulating the two, Kareena Kapoor Khan wrote, "Bless you both." Kat's buddy Mini Mathur posted, "Already! Happy one-month lovebirds. Love you both," she wrote. Kaif and Kaushal tied the knot on December 9 at a destination wedding in Rajasthan.
Though Sonu Sood has maintained that he will keep away from politics, it remains to be seen if he will campaign for sister Malvika. She is contesting the Punjab assembly elections next month. Speculation is rife that she will be fighting on a Congress ticket.

"I hope to be allowed home in a few days for self- isolation," informed the veteran actor who features in the Amitabh Bachchan-starrer Uunchai. Esha Gupta shared a health update on social media. "Despite the utmost precautions, I tested positive for COVID-19. I have been following the protocols and have isolated myself and currently under home quarantine." The actor hoped "to come back stronger and better out of this." Television star Kamya Punjabi has also been struck by the virus. The Shakti actor posted she survived the first two waves but was caught by the third. "So here I am with high fever, a spinning head and body ache. This too shall pass. Mask up people," added Punjabi.
