If today William Shakespeare were to ask, "What's in a name?", you can be sure Priyanka Chopra Jonas would say, "Lots!" Three months since the Quantico actor and husband Nick Jonas announced the birth of their first child, the baby's name is now known. Reportedly, the couple has named their daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. While they have remained tight-lipped even about the gender of their child, it is being said that their baby girl was born on January 15 after 8 pm in San Diego. PCJ was keen on a name that would be a reflection of the couple's cultures. In keeping with that, they apparently chose Malti Marie. While Malti means moonlight in Sanskrit, Marie is said to be the Biblical name for Mary. Interestingly, their daughter's name is related to PCJ's mother's name as well. Madhu Chopra's social media handle is Madhumalti.

His friends' voice

Talk in the Telugu film industry is that Mahesh Babu is lending his voice to Chiranjeevi's upcoming film, Acharya. The movie reportedly opens with a voice-over by the Maharshi actor, setting the story in motion. Apparently, Mahesh has already recorded his part for the film that also features Ram Charan. Incidentally, the Spyder actor had first played the narrator for Jalsa, starring Chiranjeevi's younger brother, Pawan Kalyan.

Akshay says sorry

Akshay Kumar has been at the receiving end ever since he signed on to endorse a pan masala brand marketed as a mouth fresher. Not that he is the only one in the campaign, but it appears that he is getting slammed the most on social media. The Bachchhan Paandey actor was quick to issue an apology to quell this storm raging against him online. Stating that the reaction of his fans and followers has deeply affected him, he said, "With all humility, I step back. I have decided to contribute the entire endorsement fee towards a worthy cause." He also maintained that the brand might continue airing the ads till the legal duration of the contract is binding upon him. Promising to be "extremely mindful" in making his future choices, Akki signed off saying, "In return, I shall forever continue to ask for your love and wishes." Smart!

Kicking it like Tiger

Amitabh Bachchan shared some pictures with Boman Irani, saying, "Seeing Tiger Shroff getting all those ‘like' numbers through his flexible kick abilities, I thought I would also give it a try, in the hope of getting even a small percentage of ‘likes'." The Heropanti 2 actor re-shared Big B's post. He wrote, "Sir, if I can still kick like you even a few years later, it will be a blessing."

A comedy with dad

In the 12-year career so far, Shraddha Kapoor has done a variety of films, but not a comedy. Her wish is to do a laugh riot with her father Shakti Kapoor. Even though the veteran actor did a cameo in her debut Teen Patti (2010), they haven't featured in a movie together. In a recent interview, Shraddha said that her father is constantly making them laugh in the house. She added that it would be lovely to share screen space with him. Emphasising that there is so much to learn from him - as an actor and also as a person - she hopes someone casts them together soon. Err, maybe Shraddha should revisit Shakti's films before she gets trolled for doing one of those inane comedies with him.

A promise fulfilled

After wrapping up his work on Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari's Faadu, Pavail Gulati flew off to Istanbul for a holiday. Indulging himself in the Turkish city, he tells us, "The city is beautiful, the food is amazing and the desserts are the best you'll find on this planet." Pavail has also had a fair share of adventure - riding an ATV bike in Cappadocia, going in a hot-air balloon at 5 am when it was freezing cold. "But the view was breath-taking," says the actor, who also went horse-riding in the hills. Interestingly, he had promised himself a vacay to Istanbul after often halting there in transit.

Mehndi tere naam ki

Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash have always been open about their relationship. Recently, the Naagin actor was spotted with mehndi on her hands. A closer inspection revealed that she had added the first letter of his name in the design. Karan showed his love for the henna design by sharing a picture on social media along with the song, Kaise mujhe tum mil gayi from the Aamir Khan-Asin's 2008 hit, Ghajini.

A moony love story?

The gup around tinsel town is that Siddhant Chaturvedi is dating Navya Naveli Nanda. In a recent interview, the Gehraiyaan actor had said that he is not single and without giving an indication of who she is, had admitted that "she knows I can't do better than her". The dots were connected after their latest social media posts. While Navya shared a picture, apparently from Rishikesh, with the moon glowing in the backdrop, he also shared a video seemingly from the temple town. Moreover, he wrote, "Apna mann aur moon dono clear." If this isn't clear, wonder what is.
