After his infamous 2019 viral party video, Karan Johar is again facing the heat for throwing a bash amid the Omicron scare. Seema Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Amrita Arora Ladak and Maheep Kapoor tested positive after making merry at the filmmaker's Union Park home. On Wednesday, KJo clarified that the "intimate gathering" on December 8 with "eight friends" was not a "party" and that his house was not a "COVID-19 hotspot" as the required protocols were in place. He informed that his family and staff had undertaken the RT-PCR tests and were negative. "I tested twice to be safe. I truly appreciate the grandest efforts of the BMC to ensure the safety of our city. Salute to them," KJo informed. With the civic authorities sealing his building and Bebo, Seema and Amrita's premises in Bandra, it will be a while before KJo hosts another intimate bash this festive season. The virus spread has made industry colleagues think twice before getting into party mode.
