Ranveer Singh and his two ponytails winged their way to Hyderabad on Wednesday to attend the mahurat of S Shankar's Ram Charan and Kiara Advani-starrer. The multilingual's working title is SVC 50. Singh made an appearance as he is collaborating with Shankar on the remake of his Tamil film, Anniyan (2005). SS Rajamouli and Chiranjeevi were also present at the Annapurna Studios. What caught everyone's attention was Singh's bare-chested suit look and double ponytail. The actor never forgets to make a quirky style statement wherever he goes. As soon as his pictures went viral, a meme fest erupted on social media. A section of netizens was impressed and amused by his "murgi cut" as it reminded them of a hen's comb. Others felt it was a "nariyal ka ped" and wondered how he travelled with the two swaying coconut palms.
On Wednesday, Mira Rajput Kapoor turned 27. Hubby Shahid Kapoor posted birthday wishes to "the centre" of his world by sharing lovey-dovey pictures. Mira is said to be spending her big day in Solang Valley in Himachal Pradesh. Son Zain turned three on September 5, and daughter Misha's fifth birthday was on August 26. It has been a week of partying for the Kapoors.

Actor-producer Deepika Padukone turns entrepreneur with a lifestyle brand that rolls out next year. The first category will focus on beauty and skincare. "We are a country that is rich in values, culture and heritage; something we are extremely proud of. Our endeavour is to build a brand that is rooted in India yet global in its reach and appeal," the actor stated. Looks like Padukone is following in Katrina Kaif's footsteps, who launched her make-up line in 2019. Kat aims at catering to the Asian skin tone and texture.
Madhuri Dixit-Nene's son Arin has joined the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles. Shriram Nene posted pictures from the campus and wrote, "Proud to be the father of a Trojan. Looking forward to his lifelong learning."
In May, Arin completed his high school at the American School of Bombay. Mads had informed that he passed with âflying colours'. Singer Shaan's son Sohum also joined the USC this year.

A Mumbai civil court has ordered for temporary restraint on access to a video game, Selmon Bhoi, allegedly based on the 2002 hit-and-run case involving Salman Khan. Last month, the actor filed a plea against the game developers stating that they had used a caricature version of his name and images without his consent.

Shilpa Shetty Kundra visited Santosh Kambli's Ganpati-making workshop in Chinchpokli ahead of the festival to take the idol home. The actor has been following the tradition for the past several years. On Wednesday, she arrived with her staff to welcome Lord Ganesha amid chants of Ganpati Bappa Maurya. Shetty's home is bedecked for her favourite festival.
Alia Bhatt is breathing a sigh of relief as her maiden production, Darlings, is complete. Jasmeet K Reen's directorial venture went on the floors in July with a ânervous' Bhatt, who is also acting in the film alongside Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew. "It's a wrap. We have done our best to make a film that we are hoping you will love. See you at the movies," wrote Bhatt. She is producing the film along with Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment. Bhatt is adamant about releasing the slice-of-life film in cinema halls.
Two months after Sonakshi Sinha launched a platform to promote Indian artists, along with brothers Luv and Kush, they were given an opportunity to create wall art as part of Mahim beach's beautification. On Wednesday, the actor wrote in her Instagram Story that she is hopeful that this marks "the start for more good work to add to the visual aesthetics." The wall art has been created by Akhlaq Ahmed, better known as Shabbu Painter. Sona is looking at more such collaborations with the BMC to beautify the city.
