Rhea drops a message

On Wednesday, while the hearing of the bail plea of Aryan Khan was on, Rhea Chakraborty shared a cryptic post on her Instagram Story. It read, "Grow through what you go through." A section of netizens was quick to point out that the actor was alluding to the star son. Chakraborty was mentioned during Khan's earlier bail hearing after the cruise drugs bust. When Shah Rukh Khan's son was sent to the Narcotics Control Bureau's custody till October 7, the additional solicitor general Anil Singh, who appeared for the NCB, reportedly brought up the charges put on Chakraborty to state how they were non-bailable. He reportedly read out the Bombay High Court judgment to point out that all the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 offences levelled at them were non-bailable.

Over five years after his last directorial venture Dishoom (2016), starring John Abraham and brother Varun, Rohit Dhawan kicks off his next, Shehzada. The shoot of the Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon-starrer is underway at a set erected in the city. A stint in New Delhi follows at a later date. Billed as an action-packed musical entertainer, the makers also announced its release date - November 4, 2022. Aaryan and Sanon reunite after the romantic-comedy, Luka Chuppi (2019).

Freida Pinto, who is expecting her first child with fiancé Cory Tran, posted pictures from her baby shower. "I feel blessed and lucky," wrote the Slumdog Millionaire (2008) actor while thanking her "awesome tribe of sisters who made it a special day." She announced her pregnancy in June and wrote, "Baby Tran, coming this Fall." Pinto got engaged to the Los Angeles-based adventure photographer in November 2019.

Streaming platforms have made Saqib Saleem focus more on his craft. He feels it has made artistes go back to doing what they should have always done - just acting. Saleem, who was part of Rangbaaz and Crackdown, says, "The digital medium makes me feel secure as an actor. We can now focus on our characters and graphs." Saleem's next is the upcoming web anthology, Aisa Waisa Pyaar.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui is shooting for the supernatural thriller, Adbhut, in Shimla. On Wednesday, he filmed several scenes at the city's landmarks - Ridge Road and Mall Road. The unit of Sabbir Khan's film, also starring Diana Penty and Shreya Dhanwanthary, heads to Manali next. PIC/PTI

Objections were raised about the events shown in the film and its depiction of the Indian Air Force. Undeterred, Kapoor finds biopics appealing. Now, she is keen to play Mount Everest climber Arunima Sinha. The actor has met her and finds her story inspiring. Sinha is the first female amputee who successfully scaled several mountain peaks across the world. She is also a former volleyball player.

Best remembered for Tere Naam (2003) alongside Salman Khan, Bhumika Chawla has now made a mark in the South. "As an actor, I am hungry for more work, the industry does not matter. I have been doing different roles as repetition means stagnation. The audience also gets bored watching the actor do the same thing," says Chawla, who was part of MS Dhoni: The Untold Story (2016).

Hegde, who features in the Ranveer Singh-starrer Cirkus, is looking forward to her Telugu film, Most Eligible Bachelor, which releases in theatres this weekend.
