Salman Khan, Fardeen Khan, Anees Bazmee and Anil Kapoor
Talk in the trade is that 'No Entry Mein Entry' might not happen after all. Salman Khan, who was looking to start filming Anees Bazmee's directorial venture with Anil Kapoor and Fardeen Khan in January-February 2023, realised that there are too many legal issues to be sorted as the corporate house backing the 2005 film has shut shop and several stakeholders need to be paid before the sequel can go on floors. This additional cost is causing the budget to skyrocket, and consequently rendering recovery and profitability difficult. Moreover, the possibility of third party claiming rights over the film can't be ruled out. So, after much deliberation over the legal and financial hurdles en route to starting the No Entry sequel, Salman has reportedly dropped the idea. While Anees is said to be making a superhero comedy next, Salman, too, is on the lookout for a laugh riot.
Actor Nayanthara and director-husband Vignesh Shivan got caught in the surrogacy controversy soon after they announced becoming parents to twin boys last Sunday. The Tamil Nadu government stated that an inquiry would be conducted to investigate if the couple had violated surrogacy laws. Nayan and Wikki, who tied the knot in June 2022 in Mahabalipuram, filed an affidavit saying that they had registered their marriage six years ago. Apart from stating that the surrogate is a relative from Dubai, the couple also declared that they had registered for surrogacy last December. Incidentally, that was before commercial surrogacy was banned in India from January 2022, barring those couples who can't have children due to a medical condition.
Varun Dhawan is the only actor from his generation to have three 3D titles to his credit. After two dance flicks - ABCD 2 (2015) and Street Dancer 3D (2020) - his upcoming horror comedy Bhediya will also release in 3D. Incidentally, the trailer releases tomorrow, when he completes a decade as an actor since his debut, Student of the Year. Those who have seen the rushes of the horror comedy claim that this is a new avatar of the actor. "Having seen him on screen in several hits over the last 10 years, in Bhediya, you will see Varun Dhawan 2.0. He has evolved as an actor," says a source.

Diwali is still a few days away, but B-Town opted to ring in the festivities earlier this time around. Can't blame them as the celebrations over the past two years were muted due to the pandemic. Ayushmann Khurrana and wife Tahira Kashyap kicked off the celebrations with a party at their home on Sunday night. Kartik Aaryan, Kriti Sanon, Rakul Preet Singh, Taapsee Pannu, Sanya Malhotra, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Ali Fazal, Richa Chadha, Manish Malhotra, producers Atul Kasbekar and Tanuj Garg joined in the revelry. Apart from indulging in special delicacies and shaking a leg, the celebs also indulged in some rounds of taash. Kartik, it seems, had a lucky night as he flaunted the fat wad of notes he won at card games.
